    CDS Exam Age Limit

    CDS Educational Qualification

    Educational qualification varies for each academy.

    • IMA & OTA: Graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
    • INA: Engineering degree from a recognized university or institution.
    • AFA: Graduation with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level or Bachelor of Engineering.

    • Stage I: Screening Test (includes Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR) test and PPDT – Picture Perception and Description Test)

    DEFENCE EXAM COACHING FAQ's

    The CDS Exam is a national-level competitive exam conducted by the UPSC twice a year. It is held to recruit eligible graduates for IMA, INA, AFA and OTA.

    Any unmarried graduate meeting the CDS eligibility can apply. Candidate must have degree from recognized university for IMA and OTA, degree in Engineering for INA and degree with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level for AFA.
