Quiet Introspection                             

Introspection, even if not given as much attention to, is very integral for the human psyche. Mostly the decisions we arrive at in life, be it small and insignificant or huge and life altering, are products of deep and quiet introspection. Rather than jumping to conclusions, overthinking, rushing to decision making, if one just takes out few moments for oneself, and with a calm mind, introspects, he/she may see an unambiguous path to their problems and have a free and open mind.

The use of introspection as a tool for looking inward is an important part of self-awareness and is even used in psychotherapy as a way to help clients gain insight into their own feelings and behaviours. The stage of life that we as students are at right now, its very important for us to introspect, about our future, about our passions and the choices that we make, and not just for the people around us and their expectations but for ourselves and our mental health as its very rightly said that Your visions will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.”
