Mind Exercise to Boost Your Self Esteem : Love Your Self

Our mind is a storage of several recordings right from our childhood days. Mind has a tendency to remember painful event more then the pleasant ones. Most of the times these are those events where our self image attained injury by own actions resulting in self criticism in some or the other form. When ever these incidents roll back to our minds cause tremendous pain with our dented image – which we try to subdue by means of listening loud music or intermittent loud shout to divert mind from that pain. 

One will agree that when our mind is restless, even meditation is not possible as the meditation happens only in a calm mind. 

The best way to counter these thoughts of self criticism/ dented self image is to consciously replace the distorted thoughts of self image to RATIONAL responses. Here are the few most common distorted thoughts which one can equate to their respective events and carry out conscious conversion of to rational responses. 

Remember we all are dynamic and unique in our own self and we shall not allow our mind to play the trick to waste our precious energy in self critical thoughts.
